Changing the size of the text
You can enlarge the text as displayed in your browser by following the
instructions below;
- Select the "View" menu at the top of your screen
- Then select either the "Increase Font" or "Decrease
Font" options.
Changing the style of the text
When you visit a website it may not be written in a style you find easy to
read. On many sites it is possible to override the style displayed with your preferred
choice, this can be done by following the instructions below;
- Select the "Edit" menu at the top of you screen
- From this menu select the "Preferences" option, this will
display a dialog box
- From the left side of the dialog box select the "Fonts" heading
under the Appearance category
- Select the option to "Use my default fonts, overriding
document-specified fonts"
- Through amending the "Fixed width font" and "Variable width
font" selections you can chose the font the page is displayed in.
Changing the text and background colours
When you visit a website it may not have a contrast of background to text
that you find easy to read. It is possible to change the background or text
colours to suit your requirements, this can be done by following the
instructions below;
- Select the "Edit" menu at the top of you screen
- From this menu select the "Preferences" option, this will
display a dialog box
- From the left side of the dialog box select the "Colours" heading
under the Appearance category
- Within the "Colours" section of this page the text and background
colours can be changed. You may also need to select the box marked
"Always use my colours, overriding document".
